GridPlus has a vision to enable true peer-to-peer crypto currency exchange without intermediaries. Mixer created an intuitive system with a super-secure hardware enclosure. The large screen enables users to read full strings of transaction data and unique pin-protected safe cards enable secure storage of password data. This program was one of Mixer's most vertically integrated efforts, employing the skills of Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering and User Experience Design (UX/UI).
Shaping Crypto Commerce
Mixer took on the challenge to generate a distinctive look for this entirely new category of products. We decided the experience should feel as familiar as banking terminals, but look different enough to stand out. Our explorations included numerous component layouts and form study models.
Secure
The most important requirement of this device was both hardware and software security. We designed an elaborate electro-mechanical system to detect any violation of the enclosure. The SafeCard's physical fingerprint can encrypt secret information that can be safely stored offsite.
